This week has been absolutely beautiful-I think that I had forgotten how much I love fall. 
Dave came home 'on time' tonite and raked up leaves in our front yard for Delaney and Elliot.
Delaney loved 'wading' through the leaves and picking up big leaf piles and throwing them. 
Elliot was his usual little-boy-self, playing with sticks and trying to eat every leaf in sight. He loved watching Laney run around.
Notice Delaney's outfit-yes, she picked it out all 'by yourself' as she says-she confuses 'myself' and 'yourself'-it's pretty cute.

too cute...I forgot what it was like to rake leaves and jump in the piles. How much fun! I can't wait to see them in their costumes, and hear about what you do for Halloween!
Emily, your blog makes me miss the kids even more. I love it.
We have lots of leaves to jump in on Long Island- I'll make sure to save them.
Can't wait to see the pics of the kids in their monkey suits. I think I'll give Delaney a call later and see if I can convince her that it would be better to wear her Flower Girl dress for Halloween.
