I painted Laney's toes this afternoon-with glitter nail polish. She then asked me to paint her fingernails; I hesitated for just a minute-I don't want her to be one of those little girls (and she sooo could be one of those little girls) who wears makeup to preschool and heels to the park! But it's just nail polish, right?

She can be one of THOSE girls!!! She wears heals to walk Central Park!! And she is tough!!!! And SMART And Talented And in love!!! It's o.k. to be one of those girls!! The children are beautiful!! You are doing a wonderful job, and it is the hardest and most important job in the world!!Janet
